[Sega Mega Drive/Genesis] Sacred Line: Genesis
« on: July 29, 2013, 02:17:48 PM »

Nickname: Sasha Darko
Project Name: Sacred Line: Genesis
From: Eastern Europe
Division: GAME
Platform: Sega Mega Drive / Genesis
Original Enter: YES
Support Motion: NO
In last NEO Compo this project have won in the top 10: NO
Status: In development

Sacred Line is a 16-bit extended version of my own game Sacred Line (which is freeware and was released for PC and Mac, later ported to Linux) for the one of my favourite consoles - Mega Drive.
Originally it's a first person surreal thriller with red-black-white style, while Mega Drive / Genesis port is a Visual Novel / Adventure, it features new 3d graphics not seen in the original game, edited plot with new events plus explains things which were left unexplained in the original).

The game is free of censorship and recommended for Mature audience only (pretty much anti-religious plot combined with blood/gore, nudity, strong language, mature humor, etc.).
While original game has only two endings (normal and secret), port will contain both of them as well as 20+ bad endings.

Alpha version in format of .bin file is available via link on website, was tested on Genesis 1 and 2 models. It has 5 minutes of "gameplay" and unfortunately has some grammar errors and minor audio crackling ("official" bug of the GINCS engine I'm using). They are fixed in the new alpha, which will be uploaded in the end of August.

New alpha version 0.2a is available for download:
Graphical and sound improvements, grammar/spelling corrections, a little bit more of a story.
