Yes, the load from SD problem was cured... a very simple fix, too. It turned out to just be some confusion over what units the zip ram size variable was in.

awesome news. i;; give the GBA games a try on my GBA and DS mk 1, i wonder if its possible to have GB/GBC games working with this flash cart on the GBA without the need for emulation, i did have the old F2a cart with the GB adapter thing that allowed gb/gbc games on a gba.

Dear Dr.neo,
SMS4 is a great tool, but i find a issue.
DS game card 'Animal Crossing: Wild World' can not Backup Save, the ROM Size is 340Mb and SMS Size is 2048Kb, when i click Backup Save button, no response.
What's wrong with it? hope you can resolve it, then i can resell more SMS4, many thanks!

I dont know if this is the currently actual thread for the Pro Manager Development but since it oviously isnt in the N64 section I try it here:

This version still has the same problem with the 1024Mbit carts as the older versions had. Only 512mb are shown after format. And what is even worse: when trying to write a 512mb rom verify ALWAYS reports an error. And when reading in the N64 section I definately am not the only one with that problem.

Considering that the 1024mbit cart is the most expensive in your lineup it is rather disheartening to see it so badly supported...

The bug that causes the 128M (older) PCE flash card being detected as a 64M still remains.

The NEO2 Manager V1.11 shows a really weird behaviour!!!
While GBA games from flash memory AND SD card DO work on Nintendo DS and DS Lite systems, my Neo2 Pro card completely refuses to play GBA games on original GBA hardware???

Considering that the NEO2 Pro cart was released last year then its most likely issue with the menu(Simply it doesn't support it yet)   ~sm-57.gif~.gif

The Neo2 Twin cart, which has been around for quite some time, shows the same behaviour.
I guess the new menu has only been tested with the GBA slot of Nintendo DS and DS Lite...

It's probably because EVERYONE is testing the software using an NDS... I am. So something NDS specific crept into the code.

Dear Dr.neo,
It's really something wrong with Save Backup, I have found the cause of the problem.
If there is a colon ':' in a game title, then you click Backup Save button, no response.
I use the Win XP system.
I have tried the following game cartridges, they all have the same problem.
Animal Crossing: Wild World
LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
GTA: Chinatown Wars
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road

some hints :
[1] put the SMS4 to the mother board backside USB port directly, don't use any USB extension cable ot USB HUB;
[2] try it on other PC, i test the "Animal Crossing: Wild World" on SMS4 with win7 system without any issue;
[3] use alcohol to clean the nds cart golden finger, maybe it's a slight connection issue.

if someone have "Animal Crossing: Wild World" this cart, please test it on SMS4 and report to us, thanks  ~sm-41.gif~

hi .. i got a "trojan" infection issue with " http://www.neoflash.com/myth/Neo2_Pro_Manager_1.11_Setup.rar " downloaded here form the site ...

when i try to setup this , my antivir software told me:

"Die Datei 'C:\Program Files\NEO2\Manager\GBA\PVRomPath.dll'
enthielt einen Virus oder unerwünschtes Programm 'TR/Dropper.Gen' [trojan].
Durchgeführte Aktion(en):
Die Datei wurde ins Quarantäneverzeichnis unter dem Namen '49f81755.qua' verschoben!"

which is translated > inside the pvrompath.dll was a trojan found "TR/Dropper.Gen' [trojan]."

Maybe my antivir ( http://www.avira.de ) got a problem but maybe there is really a trojan ...

so maybe somebody can confirm this please

So it is possible with this version to backup and restore savegames from Pokemon Black/White? And can I exchange those savegames between the original cartridge and those on my flashcard?
I'm considering buying this product, but the above has to work...

Hello, Dr.neo.

Neither ROM nor the save data of the Pokemon black French version are correctly backed up.

It is IRBFN0J08.

Dear Dr.neo
Please test US Version or European Version. because the game title in Japanese Version not include a colon ':'.

To throw my 2 cents in, the following characters are invalid under (US) English Windows (tested it under XP and Windows 7): " \/:*?"<>| "  This means they cannot be used in filenames.  Of course, extended character sets (example: Asian) also won't work.   This is why 'Animal Crossing: Wild World' shows as 'Animal Crossing - Wild World' if you check NDS scene releases: For the invalid characters, they substitute a minus symbol.

I don't have Animal Crossing: Wild World (or any other games with a ':' in the name) to test so I can't provide Dr. Neo or anyone else with more information.
