Cool B12; gonna have a go of this later.

It reminds me of a 2D version of the flash game, The Crimson Room?

The graphics are fantastic, good job.  I will put this on my ds later.  It needs a little music; unless there is as you get further into the game?

It's great that you caught on;

Crimson Room was the type of genre we tried to emulate (the artist chose Crimson Room as the example in explaining how the game would work.)

French version is complete!

Be warned that sound effects will not be working as I upgraded to the newest version of PALib recently and deleted the .wav files used to convert into .raw files.

However, the background music is still there.

Oh nice !
But I though you would do an automatic language.
You can do "if PA_UserInfo.Language==2" for french. ==5 for Spanish
and you do "else" put english.

Ah true.

The only problem was that I was at the brink of finishing the ROM's space (3.9 MB, max is 4 MB).

I can't really store anymore text in there, sorry.

Also, Angel Torres is almost finished with the Spanish version. However, I'm not sure if it will be complete by the end of today. I'll keep you guys posted on this.

Hiya B12,

Found the bug.  Start the game and press A.

I must have pressed A by mistake.

Stuck at loading screen on Acekard 2, it's a real shame, too.

Strange, try it on no$gba emulator.

It works fine on several other cards.

i've heard other people say that akaio 1.4.1 proper is freezing on this homebrwe. the beta 1.5 runs it fine. it could be the broken dldi file which is included in 1.4.1. the official dldi might work out better. also it could be something as simple as that the msd needs a fresh format with the panasonic formatter.

i tested it out on ak2 and a 2.1 and its working fine.

hope this post helps.

Well,

Operation Libra uses libFAT for loading and saving save files. This means that some cards may have difficulty loading it if it is either not DLDI patched or the card isn't formatted.

The only reason why this would crash compared to the other games, is if the other games did not have libFAT initialized because there was no loading/saving files.

I hope you get it working, if not, try using no$gba emulator. ^^

EDIT:

The english version uses devkitARM rev 21, whereas the french/spanish versions use devkitARM rev 26. I'm not sure if there were any changes implemented in libFAT between the two, but that may also be an underlying factor in loading the game. Hope this helped.

AN IMPORTANT NOTICE TO JUDGES AND TESTERS.

THE SPANISH AND FRENCH VERSIONS OF THIS GAME DO NOT HAVE SOUND EFFECTS. THE ENGLISH ONE IS THE FULLY COMPLETE VERSION WITH SOUND EFFECTS, THEREFORE PLEASE ASSESS THIS GAME THROUGH PLAYING THE ENGLISH VERSION.

hey,

im looking over the art and I see your artist "algraphics" is very decent at art.

however, my art is much more superior, I don't feel the technique used by your current artist is what a professional game needs. believe me, working with me is a lot more worth your while (I enjoy working for visual novel/escape the room games), just pm me at greenflowx@gmail.com if you want to see my portfolio and want to negotiate about anything

The sketchy art style was perfect for the theme used in the game (darkness, evil, corruption). Also, the piano was not drawn by ALGraphics, I produced that. The image pertaining Veronica is absolutely fine.
