I already have my MK3 but just waiting on my PassMe2 to come so i can install FlashMe so i can USE the MK3. What i want to know is will i beable to run GBA Roms from the SD Card that is int he MK3? or do they have to be flashed on the Flash Cart.

They have to be run from the flashcart. The DS slot is not accessable by GBA mode at all.

Do GBA games run really well with such Super Card SD ?
I am really interested to know, because I still like GBA games and GBA homebrew to run on my DS, but I also like SD cards better because they are fast and easy to write on.
Also how is the saving handled ? I am asking because my old F2A cart does not save to SRAM anymore, and this is the main reason why I need to get a new one..
I am particulary interested in emulators for the GBA. Will they run OK ?
Thanks in (gb)advance.

from what i was able to tell is that it saves the saves to a .sav file on the SD Card so you can back it up easyer. Cool thing their is you can then load the .sav file in a emu on your pc.

Cool,
it sounds really good, expecially if I don't have to worry about SRAM not anymore.
Thanks

I have to say, that SuperCard GBA support kinda blows. Some games save, some dont. Most you have to quickly power cycle your DS/GBA and manually write the SRAM to the save file by picking the savefile off the card and pressing the button a couple times.
As well, most GBA ROMs need patching to work at all, and sometimes the patcher does not work (game wont load) and sometimes the patching fouls stuff up (onscreen gameplay slowdowns).
It sure beats having a battery run out and losing your saves, but at the same time not all SuperCards were built equally. I have heard of some that cant power cycle and keep the SRAM, but most dont have this problem.
At any rate, for DS stuff the SuperCard works well, and loading the MK2/3 menu off it works great since the 0.4a release.

Well I wish you had posted sooner....because yesterday I bought one, an now i hear about patching GBA games and save problems ???.
I should have been more careful which model to choose then....
Anyway I hope it works, as I said I will continue to use neoflasf for DS and the other I will use for GBA stuff.

There is a big help forum for SuperCard at scdev.org, with alot of info and help if you run into any problems with it. Most of the problems have workarounds, like the quick power cycle (QPC) saving, so head over there and check out what people have to say and what bubble2k has done to help as well.
