Title: PowerKit wont burn after menu 0.3 flashed

I "burned" the 0.3 MK2 menu onto my neoflash after getting the MK2... It works great, I can flash to the cart through the DS, but when I try to flash to it using Neo Power kit I add a ROM and select burn, it then says "All Done" immediatly and does not flash...

I have upgraded to the latest version of NeoPower kit, and have tried all three "Write Versions"

I am specifically trying to upgrade to menu 0.4a, but it will not flash ANY roms to the cart.

any ideas?

Im kind of stuck with 0.3 now, and cant do anything to fix it... is there any way to "format" the cart so I can start fresh?

Ok, now I'm a little confused..

You previously used menu 0.3 and it flashed fine, so I assume you have some type of Neo cart???

Now is the problem that you can't flash roms from menu 0.4 to the flashcart (does it freeze or something?), PLUS you can't flash gst-patched roms directly to the flashcart by using Neo Power Kit 2.1???

I think Neo-MAX 1.4 has a format feature, but I haven't tried this program as it's still being developed and might conflict if Neo Power Kit is also installed.

When you installed the latest version of NPK did you install it overtop of the old one? You should do an uninstall and reinstall it if you did.

If that does not fix it then:
NeoMax should solve your problem. I am not sure what causes it, but once you format it in the other program it fixes it.

There is currently no conflicts between NeoMax 1.4 and NeoPowerKit 2.1 (the conflicts were resolved) although there have been some reports of buggyness with NeoMax.

- install neomax

- plug in your flashcart to the slim loader, and plug that into the PC. Run neomax.
- when it opens, click the format button and agree to format the cart
- close neomax and open neopowerkit
- select the DSbooter and press remove
- press add and select the new menu
- press burn.

BTW: bruceg, go ahead an give neomax a go, it seems pretty stable on my PC, just make sure if you had it installed before that you run the uninstall before putting the new version on.

thanks cory... looks like neomax 1.5 came out so I'll try that one out =)
