Title: Is it possible to run Mk2 w/o a GBA flashcart?

I'm a total newb: I received a MK2 for my European DS (serial NEF1011...) but I've only a SD card and no GBA flashcart. Reading this forum I understood something about usage (in the package I've found nothing but the MK2 itself, no software, no instructions) but still I have a question:

will be possible to start the DS with only the MK2 inserted (with attached DS game and SD or MMC card with games or bios or softtware to list games or whatelse)? ???

I wish someone tells me that I don't have to buy the GBA flashcart too, but I'm rather pessimistic. In case I don't have to, I'd like to know how to "run stuff" with the MK2. Many thanks for help. :)

Seems like you didn't really bother to search these forums, because it has been mentioned many times that it's not possible to boot any MK withouth a flshcart.
There might be a slightly chance in the future to boot the DS from the MK3,because it has some built in memory , but it's not guaranteed.

Anyway all you need to do , in order to have a general, in depth guide step by step, is to check Cory1492 exellent FAQ by CLICKING HERE (http://www.neoflash.com/forum/index.php/topic,875.0.html), which is ment to help people with this sort of questions.
