Title: Run mk2/mk3 without any flash cart.
Post by: gunstar on January 22, 2006, 07:38:22 PM
Hi!
I have bought one mk2 and I have not a gba flash cart for run the menu.
Is there not a 16 megabits memory space for keep a menu? Why we need another flash cart for run it?
Are there any posibilities that in the future will be released any menu that no need a gba flash cart?
Should I buy a flash cart really?
Thank's... I think the shops could write with big letters that it don't run without a cart...  ::sm-02::

You need a GBA flash cart to run the boot code. Even when the menu will be stored on the Mk2/3 menu space, it is unlikely that it will be bootable without a GVBA flash cart.
