Title: GBA Neo-Key Cart
Post by: yojimbo5 on January 30, 2006, 04:50:13 AM
Ive seen the new 512M kit and im wondering if anyone knows how that new GBA Neo-Key Cart works.

For those you wondering what im talking about, im talking about the yellow gba cart. Is it an ordinary gba cart flashed with the latest menu rom ? Or maybe it enables the download the menu from the MK3 ?

Im asking because I need to find a cheap way to boot the menu since im only using the MK3 internal memory to flash game. I have only one old 256M gba flash cart wasted to only to boot the MK3 menu.

I would prefer to simply have this Neo-Key cart to do that and keep my gba cart for my gb micro.

Any suggestions anyone ?

Is there any plans on selling that key standalone at low cost ?

NEO-key isn't designed to store roms... it's not going to replace a flashcart...  only thing I'm aware that it is currently used for is to hold the menu
