Hi,

I'm stuffed with neomax 8GB pack.

Wanted to play Mario and Luigi Partners in Time, I had to flash menu 0.3 (0.4 and 0.5 worked fine with me, but not for this game).

I flashed the game on the neomax 512+128 and played the game fine. When I shutdown my DS and start it again, I usually find my profile saved. It happens that sometimes my profile in the game is lost, so that I have to create a new one and restart the game from the beginning. :(

Does anyone got this kind of issue ? With menu 0.4 and 0.5 I never had such problems. Is there a solution ?

You could grab GST patcher 3.4 or 3.4r (not sure which one will work for certain with this game) and run the ROM through the patcher, burn that to your NM cart with NPK instead of the menu, and it will retain its save on the MK3.

or you can wait for menu 0.6 and then test that rom again.   The saving feature should also be significantly improved (where you can hopefully backup the save permanently to the SD card)

I could also play directly from sd-card to get my save on the sd-card, but it's really too slow.

I already tried patching then burning the ROM directly, but I used the patcher from DSLazy. I'll try again this evening with those you advised me.
Does the patcher from DSLazy sometimes work with neomax ?
Important question : If I use this method (patching and flashing directly), will the game work with a 0.5 menu on the flash card ?

Finally, I'm glad to learn menu 0.6 could come with more compatibility.

I am playing mario cart with menu 3 after burning it to the cart and I can save-load the game without any problem. :)

If you are using menu 3 tell 8)

No, they are actually two different things entirely..  You can flash EITHER the menu or the gst-patched rom to the cart.  They can't exist together on the cart.  Also, with the gst-patched rom, you can't backup the save, like you can with the menu software.
