So, I bought a MK2 because MK3 seems to not yet be available in England. I have an old Flash Advance Pro 256M GBA flash cart. Can I use this to flash flashme firmware on my DS? What software should I use to flash flashme to my FlashAdvancePro? I tried LittleWriter but it gave errors.

Which linker do you have? (Im assuming you have the parallel one if you are using littlewriter?)
Try using Flash2Advance USB/XXP writer V3.1 (can be gotten from the unofficial F2A support forum at this page: http://members.home.nl/penpvdbs/downloads.htm )
Turn off the boot menu (if there is that option) and burn it with no patching.

Fantastic! that worked! I've successfully flashed the flashme firmware to my DS using a Visoly Flash Advance Pro 256M GBA flash cart. Thanks very much for your help!
