my gba saves erased when i recet ds and nes states gone ive tried all the batterys it just wont save i dont know what to do
-
Do you have a way to test the voltage of the batteries to make sure they are good? (multimeter should read more than 2.6V for the batteries to work right)
-
yeah there fine
-
am i suppoded to use flash eeprom or sram saver type

If you are using Neo Power Kit 2.2 to run gba roms on the flashcart, the gba saving is unreliable and the saves can be lost/overwritten. Using the saver operations in general in Neo Power Kit can sometimes be hit-and-miss as well (plus there is a bug with the sram restore function that won't be resolved until NPK 2.3).
The neomax 1.5 software is much more reliable for running gba roms with its Save Management System (SMS) support.

This is a neoflash or neomax cart you are using??? Either is supposed to work with neomax 1.5 software... I guess it's a possible bug in the program.

I reported this post to cory since there was another guy having problems getting his neoflash detected in neomax 1.5. In that case, Dr. Neo said they would take a look at the program, and hopefully resolve any potential bugs.

It depends on what you are running. Generally most GBA will autodetect the correct save type (the save type is in the GBA ROM header) and with .nds it wont matter one way or the other.
