Title: Neo Key Question

I understand the neo-key isn't meant to hold roms..and I am supposed to use powerkit 2.2 to flash a new menu to the neo key, yet it doesn't seem to pick up on the card. I have all of my drivers installed, and everything seem to be fine...Any thoughts?

ok

1st Installe Neo-Max software
2nd Insert the Neo-Key into the Slim Loader
3rd Run the Neo-Max software
4th Format the Neo-Key (dont select MoonShell)
5th in the add a game, add the menu
6th do single write

Now you should have the menu onto the Neo-Key and that should boot into the MK2/3

It detects my card, and allows me to format it, yet after I format, it says "Not find cartridge."  It will then allow me to select a rom, but when I do a single write, it says "Error in write."

Now when I try to boot to the menu, I just get a top-screen plug for the neo-key.

You tried Neo Power Kit 2.2 for SL4, right??  There is another version for SL3 which you shouldn't use...

I don't have a neo-key, but from what I have been hearing, it should work with Neo Power Kit 2.2 SL4.

The latest neomax software may still have bugs in it (for flashing the menu to your neo-key).

Are you having problems similar to this person???  He got it working after several tries, though....

Do not use NeoMax to format the NeoKey. It will not detect properly for a while after doing so.

If you are using neomax, just dont format the key. Simply detect it, tell it OK when it says "you should format" then click add. Add the menu, and press single ROM. It will burn and then give you an error message about not finding the cart after, and then a cart burned OK message. Just dont format the NeoKey.
