I have a neoflash 1GB and recently purchased an MK2 to upgrade. Now, I've patched tetrisDS and flashed it directly to the cart, using nothing more than NPK software v. 2.3, and my DS thinks it's a GBA cart, doing nothing at startup except going to a single white screen (when booted) Using it with MK2 in DS slot, it goes to dual white screens. I flashed it twice more, making sure it was in 'DS' mode, but same problem. Help!

patched it .. with?.. the ISP patch released for it?.. what did you use to patch it?

I assume you are using gst-patcher 3.4r to patch. That program is no longer updated, so it wouldn't surprise me if various titles did not work (especially the newer ones). You're just asking about this specific rom, correct??

Ahh, heheh, the GST patcher :)
See, in order to make Tetris work ( for now at least ) is to patch it with a special ISP patch released for it.. Cory posted it some time ago, dunno where it is ::sm-22.gif:: .. look around on the forum
after patching it, flash it dirrectly to your Neocard, and voila ::sm-19.gif:: ( -don't- patch it with the GST patcher afterwards )

I might not have been clear, but i know how to patch tetris DS and I used the .IPS file, as well as smart IPS to patch it. Maybe you don't, but I research into problems before posting about them. I'm sorry if I sound rude, but I'm just tired from having to fix my PC... (A different one, so it's not related).

d-loader is just trying to be helpful here, so don't take it personally...
Though you may thoroughly research your topics, the fact is many here don't bother to even look in the FAQ section before posting (so that's why I answer initially with more basic responses, since I have no idea how much the poster knows already -- I'm not trying to belittle anyone -- just trying to be very thorough and helpful, to the extent of my own limited knowledge.... The coders don't communicate with me directly, so I usually get second hand information.
Now, I guess if the .ips method doesn't work, you have to wait for the patching routines to get updated in the mk2/mk3 menu.
I just checked the latest compatibility testing that was done internally, and many of the completely non-functional ones (tested on sd, 1 gig neo cart, AND mk3 512) are numbered #300 and higher (#380 was the most recent non-working one at the time)
At least they are basically aware of which ones need fixing....

Sorry 'bout that. I was pissed at other things and my anger came off here. Anyways, I was able to get it to work by direclty flashing it to my cart using another computer. I think it might have been the PC's USB ports. It works, but not on wi-fi.

Don't worry about it.... I noticed a bunch of titles in the upper 300 range that aren't working yet on the mk2/mk3 menu, so it's definitely a legitimate question.
Apparently, it's not just that bugs need to be fixed in the existing patching routines, but new code needs to be added to make the newer releases function...
At least you found a partial workaround in the meantime...
