hi, I'm new... but I've been lurking a while and it seems others have the same problem as me. I'm running a windows xp, trying to use sl3 w/ npk whatever version (tried everything)...
it will read but not write, npk hangs at 0.00%... I've tried all the methods I found on this forum, but have also heard that the counter is just not counting up...
Will someone please explain because I dont know wnat's happening.

If you have in fact tried everything (and looked at all the guides in the FAQ section), it's frequently a problem with the pc chipset responsible for usb port communications -- a separate usb 2.0 pci card (using a different chipset) or usb 2.0 hub usually fixes this, as it provides more stable, regulated power.
It's always good to confirm pc specific issues by trying on multiple pcs, where feasible.
