Hey guys,
I'm having dramas with the menu v0.6 beta 2 (I think!!) reason i say is that if i have my flash cart in with mk3... beta 2 (GBA version) and my mk3 with mmc with mk3 beta 2 (NDS version)and metroid prime (demo).... It does work but if i take out my mk3 or vice verca i have white screen but if both are in... no problem... Id say it is booting off the flash card because it wont read my MMC.. it says Error: Initializing MMC.... I am updated to v7 from flashme so there wasnt a problem there...
All I am trying to do is flash the menu to the mk3 so it is permanent!!! I have noticed that there can be some problems with some mmc cards, I am using my MMC out of my nokia phone to try (formatted) untill my 512mb comes through snail mail... what do you guys think?.... thankyou in advance ::sm-04::

You will need to be able to access a MMC or SD card to load the menu onto the MK3, MK2 or 3 is always required to boot the menu (it checks for the MK version first off and will give a white screen if its not found) and until you are able to access the MMC card you will not be able to load the menu from the MK3.
There also appears to be problems in the current beta with flashing the menu to the NeoMax MK3 (64+32) and the MK3 2005 512+128.
Someone else (JSS) has found that "remounting" the MMC card a few times in the menu (in the main menu select the MMC icon, press B and then press A to mount), or with some of the earlier versions of the menu removing the MMC and then putting it back in and mounting it again would allow you to access some MMC cards that dont mount up straight away.

Thanx again cory1492,
I actually found out that all the mmc cards that I used are not compatable, so i got a sandisk sd 512 and that worked perfectly... I am currently using the 256m+64zip and there wasnt any probs there.... I was going to have a look inside the mk3 to see what they use for the memory to see if its upgradable... we will see the outcome
