Title: please help... white screen after gameover

Was trying tao's adventure and the saves work fine, but if I die it gives me two white screens past the game over screen (won't reload start menu).
using mk1, latest npk... any idea what the prob is here?  ::sm-03::

The problem is likely that the rom is not patched properly.  Unfortunately, mk1 and the gst-patcher are no longer supported.
