How do I access the SRAM of my NEO flash cart for GBA roms?? NPK doesnt work for this feature...and if it does no one on this forum has explained how to save correctly. I have tried everything that has been posted by all of the NEO adminstrators in this forum and it doesnt work. Can someone explain in more detail about how to save and restore a saved game?
I know that supposedly that you do a "save all" and it creates a file and then you load it back to the cart or something.... I tried Final Fantasy 4 Advance and saved a game. I took the cart out of the DS and re-inserted and rebooted the DS and Final Fantasy 4 has the "load game" there, and I chose it and then the slot is empty ......??
I also tried Prince of Persia SOT and it uses EEPROM for saves and it works,I also plugged my NEO cart into a Gameshark and fired off SOT and the cheats actually worked.
Does anyone have any info about the SRAM situation??

The problem with the SRAM saving is that it's not reliable. Some gba roms don't save to the SRAM space properly (I don't run gba roms in general, but apparently there are some patches to fix individual roms).
I just tested Shaman King 2 and Gunstar SH, and both seemed to worked fine (I know the battery in my cart is good, since I tested it). I was able to save the .nsf file to the default location (dir2), and then restore it successfully (please note that NPK doesn't tell you when it has finished saving/restoring the SRAM -- took a few seconds to complete)
It seems pretty much hit or miss with NPK (gba rom saves can apparently get overwritten as well, since there is no SMS feature). I would use neomax for gba roms, if possible, because of the SMS support (generally more reliable). I tried now with FFIV (did a quick save), restarted my ds, and was able to continue the game, after backing up the save data.
