is it possible run these on an mk2?
-
ummmmm....
No i dont think so because its a .gba
It may be possible but i dont think so.
-
damn- so much homebrew comes in this format for other flash carts
-
Homebrew using the menu software needs to be in .nds format.
If you are flashing directly to your gba cart (i.e. not using the menu), then you can flash the .ds.gba file directly and it should work...

hmm, but as im not using the neo max setup, just an mk2 and an old 128mbit flash cart to boot the mk2, can i use the mk2 as a passme to run ds code from the cart? all i get is white screens if i dont boot the menu.. hmm i may install flashme...
-
Yes, the mk2 acts as a simple passme1 device as well, so it runs the code from the gba cart.. Assuming the cart is compatible with homebrew (most are), it should work....

are you sure? when i boot without the sd card in and a cart with .gba files in (no menu) all i get is white screens..?
-
I don't know about your cart and the flashing program (it usually includes loader options as well), but most allow you to burn .ds.gba directly to the cart, and they generally work fine. The purpose of the .ds.gba format is to allow it to run straight from the flashcart.
