nice job :-*

hey sven you try this out yet on your Slimloader III.
I tried it both with my Neo2-SD and the Neo Flash 1024 MB card and still no go. It wont recognize my Slimloader still gives me the same error.
Let me know if you have any better luck will you thanks.
-
ok sven new problem :).
To get it to see your Slimloader you need to go into the Neo2 Ultra Menu v 1.33 and go to the Advance Set tab. Then switch the Slimloader Version drop down box and change it from Slim Loader IV to Slim Loader III because by default its on Slim Loader IV.
Well now it tells me No NEO2 Card Found!
This is suppose to be compatible with Neo2-SD right ?
Going to try a few things will post as soon as I get something going or not.
-
nothing worked :(
Anyone know how to get this to work with Neo2-SD that was flashed with the lastest Menu for the DS?
I have a Neo2-SD and Slimloader III I want to be able to format the menu for GBA roms to play on my GBA/SP. Anyone have any idea how to do this?
-
Well now it tells me No NEO2 Card Found!
use rubber to clean your goldenfinger of neo2 cart, it's connection issue only.
-
I have a very annoying problem.
I received my Neo2 lite 512M recently, and so far only this program has all the functions I want (especially being able to save files one by one) and works fine, except for ONE thing.
So, it burns the roms without any problem, they all work on my GBA SP. I can save in the games, I can even compress them, this works fine.
However...When I try to backup my saves on my computer, I get the error :
"GAME.sav
Open this file failed!"
And as a result, I get a GAME-day-hour.gba file which size is 0 bytes, while I suppose it should be a file named GAME-day-hour.sav
I have tried everything : I changed the location of the save directory, I tried to edit the save files so that there is no special characters at all, I've tried all 7 save modes, I tried not compressing them, and still no luck...
So I'm unable to backup the save files, which makes more or less the whole thing unusable because I can't wait to finish ALL the games on the cart before burning a new batch...
Also, there seems to be no way to delete save files directly with the game boy advance.
Does anyone else have the same problem with backup save files?
-
Sorry Dr. Neo but I didnt understand that one bit
use rubber to clean your goldenfinger of neo2 cart, it's connection issue only.
what does that mean exactly ?
rubber to clean your goldenfinger of neo2 cart ?
I dont get that at all, did I miss something?
Whats the goldenfinger of the neo2 cart ?
Anyway you can give me a step by step or anyone have a step by step on getting this to work with the Neo2-SD flashed with the newest NDS menu using slimloader III?
Need to get GBA games running off of the Neo2-SD with a GBA/SP.
Thank you all in advance.
-
goldenfinger = the contacts on the cart (they look kind of like golden fingers)
rubber = a clean pencil eraser or similar (non-conductive)
-
so cory1492,
basically I get a pencil with a clean eraser and LIGHTLY rub the goldenfinger contacts on the Neo2-SD ?
and that should help it to work and not damage my Neo2-SD ?
-
yeah I used an eraser and rubbed the goldenfinger contacts but it still doesnt work for me using the Slimloader III :'(
anyone else have any suggestions or hints to get this to work let us know and thanks

I have found some unplayable games using Neo2Lite and Ultra Menu V1.33 beta2.
2174_Tsuukin_Hitofude_JPN
1821 - Yoshi no Banyuuinryoku
Both did not startup.
Also Ultra Menu V1.33 beta2 was unable to format flash-cart.
So I used NEO2 Ultra Menu V1.33 Setup.exe
and quick formated the menu using Ultra Menu V1.33 beta2
-
1821 - Yoshi no Banyuuinryoku was OK
-
okuma, did you try to backup saves? Does it work for you or do you get the same error? (see my previous message)
Also, I noticed too that full format doesn't work in beta2.
-
isnt there any way to play gba without a slimloader?
.nds loads from sd, cant gba do this as well?
i have a Neo2 SD, but no Slimloader -_-;
would it be possible to flash it using an xboo cable and a gba?
would it also work in gba mode on a ds after this?
-
Hi steetboris
I think I have the same flash cart with you, which is NEO2LITE 512Mb
Sorry to say that I saw the same error message when try to back up the SMS save data.
(GAMENAME).sav
Open this file failed!
-
Ok, in fact that's a good thing because it means it's a bug and not a configuration problem...Thanks for checking!
-
That is OK.
I like testing things and debugging programs more than playing games maybe.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival did not start up when I burn it NEO2 Ultra Menu V1.33 beta2, although it runs perfect when burned using Neo2Manager 1.6.
-
How is the programming?
1. Compressed save data sometimes breaks.(Unreadable to read save data) I forgot the error messages.
2. Some games like won't run. I found Tsukin hitofude...Sennen Kazoku... were unplayable.
* The percentage of playable games (running GBA roms) is higher than other Flash-carts though.
* I could play Tsukin Hitofude by writing it to NOR memory on EZ-FLASH IV.
Resoliving those 2 above and adding "Auto-load save data + Auto-save save data" will make Neo2Lite perfect.
