Project description:
BrickFall is basically the game Falldown, you guide a square through a maze of platforms without letting it hit the top of the screen. If it hits the top you lose. Your score is generated on how long you manage to survive. Unlike Falldown, this game has powerups. These powerups can help you or go against you so be careful as it is completely random.

Some features of this game include:

-Three controls styles: Buttons, Touch and Motion (any motion card supported)

-Wifi Leaderboard. You can upload your scores and compete with anyone!

-MP3 support! You can now listen to your favorite tunes while playing!(High speed sd card recomended!)

Please read the "readme.txt" before playing as it contains information for getting the game installed and running mp3's and such!

get a black screen after the "motion card" screen comes up" with an r4.. =/

when i had one of those graphic calculators at school.. i would play this game all friggen day.. only i think that one went up instead of down, no matter though.. :P

Are you sure you read the read me file? Make sure that the brickfall folder is on the root of your sd card and DLDI patch the rom for it to work.

had the folder in a subfolder by accident..  ~sm-31.gif~

pretty cool... could use some nicer graphics, but i like the game overall.. nice job :D

Basically to get working, you just need the brickfall folder on the ROOT of your card and DLDI patch the rom. But just to warn you guys, theres a few problems with the leaderboard part, it kind of works but its still causing some problems.

Works great here, on both M3 SD and G6 DS Real

I forgot to mention, for the custom mp3s to work you need the directory empty before you add your songs. Other than that you jut need to follow the readme. :)

Nice job with mp3 support!! ;D  Instead of chilling out listening to music on the train, I can listen to music AND play BrickFall!!  Only wish I didn't have to convert my mp3's to mono but I know that the RAM in the ds is limited and that certainly isn't your fault!!

Lots of nice features & effects in the game!  Good job :)

This is pretty nice.  I've always liked this game concept (there's a really good homebrew version of it on the Atari 2600, which is the one I've played the most) and you've added some nice new twists to it with the different types of platforms and such.  The backgrounds and customizable music folders only make the game that much better.

Sometimes, though, it looks like you can get through a space between two platforms, but the game acts like there's a wall there and won't actually let you through.  I don't know if that's a programming glitch or a level map problem or what, but it's annoying.

I haven't had a chance to try out the motion control yet since I can't just swap in my Motion Card (original) after loading the game from my slot-1 card like I usually do.  I'll have to put the game on my slot-2 cart and load it from there, but that's sort of a pain in the ass--or seems like it these days since slot-1 is so much easier.

Congratulations on the release.

Yeah those would be map problems, I got a few extra people to help make some with me and I guess I missed some spots on the maps while checking them over.  Sorry about your motion problem, but there was no other way for me to do this without FAT. :(

So... the transitions are WAY over used, the menus are not very good looking but overall, it's pretty fun, so fix those and it'll be great

[edit] just tested motion mode, well it's pretty damn bad.. (could be much better)

When i enable it, when i start a game, i only get a black screen (bsod ;) ?)
Whee!DS work with R6 Gold so the problem doesn't come from the card.

I'm sorry but i don't know whats wrong... It works fine for me with my motion card but i don't have an r6... and I think i'm using the latest motion code.
