Title: OMG WTF
Post by: arrpirate on August 14, 2009, 10:50:46 AM
Nickname: ArrPirate
Project name : OMG WTF
From : USA
Division : NDS Game
Original entry : YES
Support Motion : NO
In last NEO Compo this project have won in the top 10 : NO

Description:

OMG WTF is my falling blocks game. It is similar to Tetris but contains several variations. It uses EFS and FAT so it may not work on all emulators or flash carts.

I plan on making this part of a larger project involving many more game mods, including some genre crossovers, like a Tetris-like platformer where you play a little guy inside a computer-controlled falling blocks game and you're trying to jump from block to block to reach the top without getting squished.

Looks pretty solid , but allow me to point something .
The project name doesn't really suits with 1920's jazz background music ~sm-34.gif~ ::sm-12.gif:: O0O ~sm-40.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~...

Lol. Because the whole theme of falling bricks totally fits the 1920s theme, right?

Just a question: I see you taken that screenshots by using an emulator, no$gba. So, does no$gba able to execute all homebrews developed for DS? Interesting

No$gba can do most homebrew stuff, but not all.

The music must fit with the concept   ;) , and in that case jazz is a great choise for a puzzle/board game!!!(good choise!) :)  ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ~sm-36.gif~ ::sm-12.gif:: ::sm-12.gif:: ::sm-12.gif::

The project name is because of my husband's reaction when he was playing the game. He made it really far into the garbage mode and lost and he was like, 'OMG! WTF?!'

I named it 'OMG WTF' as a tribute to my husband, who I love very much.

Yes, I'm a girl. At least I was the last time I checked.

I'm a stay at home mother of four. I've been married for more than a decade.
