I gave it a try yesterday evening... is it possible to change keys configuration? I believe pressing <A> and <up> together to fire, <A> and <down> to drop the bomb and <up> alone to jump it's a real curse... please, switch to <A> to jump and <B> to fire (eventually <B> and <down> to drop the bomb...) or something similar.
Thanks!

The game was originally designed for 1 button joysticks but yeah that's a bit out dated now.

Yeah, I did such controls because it was like the original game.
I will change them in the next version, it will be available soon.

Some folks don't like the original Atari style controls. That's one thing I did a little while back - change the controls in my 32X port of xrick to use the extra buttons. If you get stuck trying to change the code, feel free to look at my code... some of the control handling in xrick is pretty wacky.

Well, I've never played that game on an Atari nor on any other system before... said that I also believe that when porting a game on a different platform -usually- it's a good idea to conform to the common control styles of that system. Of course IMHO.

Thanks a lot but , well, it is not an xrick port (see readme.txt to know that i'm using a complete reverse from atari st version frommade by foxy).
I will add a menu to choose the controls (gba (with A / B) or original (like atari st version)).

Weird that there are TWO remakes of the same game... xrick also has the ST graphics and sound. Anywho, it's great to see homebrew still lives on the GBA.  ;D

The sounds are from the amiga version, not the ST version for My version.
Also, yes, foxy did a reverse of Rick dangerous I ... and II code :)
Perhaps the GBA will have another episode .... ~sm-91.gif~.gif  ~sm-46.gif~.gif
Regarding foxy code, I did a lot of work to have a version like the first one : no menu, cheat code.
Hope you will enjoy such features  ::sm-12.gif::

Are you sure Foxy's port isn't based on xrick? It would be pretty easy to tell if you compare the code from both. It doesn't really matter, it just seems odd that he would write it from scratch when he doesn't normally do that.

Yes, I'm sure.
I did port to DS of both version (xrick and foxy verison), so I know that it is not the same source.
Foxy did lot's of reverse engineering of ST games, rick was one of theses reverses.
