and, in the burn APP, system will auto detect the CIC type from the rom, so please DON'T change the CIC type too!

Dr.Neo, it runs great , it also saves/load great. Its just a software protection issue that won't let you to run or shoot without actual 6105 cart plugged in.
 :-\

Edit:There is a patch for this available by the way.  :D

If it can be fixed with the hardware boot emulator that would be way too cool!

If its not possible , remember that there is a patch available   :)
I will include it in the autopatch database just in case  ::sm-16.gif::

Set the save type to "EEPROM 16Kb" because "CARD" means it will use the plugged cart on the back instead.

that works,

So far with banjo tooie the problem it's that this game doesn't boot if an actual 6105 cart is plugged in.

And with Jet force gemini, doesn't shoot and jump if an actual 6105 cart is plugged in too.

today i have all the complete day for boot and test roms xD, i'll start in order with the whole set for usa games

i use the "[No-Intro] Nintendo - Nintendo 64 (2009-08-07) [Collection/2009]" set from underground gamer, and no-intro means (just in case that someone doesn't know):

" "No-Intro" lists only the best available ROM; it must be a full dump with no faults and no changes to the file, basically just the ROMS that are the closest as possible to the original licensed cartridges. "

No-Intro is good, although I don't exactly like the naming scheme.
GoodN64, although it's updated less often (not like there are that many N64 releases today, though), but to me GoodN64, even with it's lots of bad dumps and other **** listed, has an added value for us testing here, in that it includes many patched ROMs for things like region protection, copy protection, save type changes...

Saves lots of time finding and applying those patches if for some reason you want to use them, it's also a good way to find out about the existence of a particular patch since they are hard to find today or even find info about them.

I'm not going to say if it's complete or what, but there are many.

I have now moved much of this post over to the new "N64 Myth programmer bug reports & recommendations" thread:-
http://www.neoflash.com/forum/index.php/topic,5921.0.html
I have just left the following paragraphs so later posts still make sense.

When I have selected the 'CARD' save type in the Neo2 Menu to save to the original boot cartridge I cannot backup this CARD save file with the Neo2 Ultra Menu, I get an error message that says 'save backup failed' (Or similar) Does that mean the Neo2 Ultra Menu cannot access the original cartridge save?

Or does it mean it will only possible to backup the CARD save type by using the N64 Myth Cart boot menu that is under development? (To copy the original boot cartridge save to the Neo2 cart)

Card save type is for memory card, you should save the game on your memory card and it doesn't need to save on the myth64 if i'm ok.

Hmm, then why does the N64 Myth save to the boot cartridge?

I tested it with Zelda Ocarina of Time. You can test it yourself by burning a game you already own that has a save file to the N64 Myth Cart, then insert the same original game into the back and then you can load your original cartridge save file on the N64 Myth Cart - I hope that makes sense!

I thought the default CARD setting meant either use the 'Controller Pak' (Memory card) Or the save type used in the original boot cartridge inserted in the back of N64 Myth Cart.

yes.

on games that used battery we should select the best save type according to the list posted before and for the ones that used memory card (controller pak) we select "card"

I received my cart today, but no games work at all.
i have a pal n64 with expansion ram, and it boots my own cartridges without a problem
i formatted the 512cart via standard format, then burned oot, plugged in different boot carts in the back, but none of them worked, i get no signal at my tv
i also tried flipping the little switch, but nothing
then i tried goldeneye and conker, but it's the same problem
any help?
