ALT version, you mean the *nds version, that doesn't even boot up on the cart!

Well yeah, I am using a euro game, so that might be it, oh well, If I can't get it i'll start a new game...

there are both .nds and ds.gba versions...

So there are two alternate versions?
I use a *gba one, and the NDS one doesn't load at all...

There is one alt version, in both ds.gba (with a bootloader) and .nds (wifime/without a boot loader). They work identically.

I think I will have to remove the old/standard version, havent had any problems with the fix that was suggested to me but I keep hearing about the 2mbit save writing issue.

Yeah, i've had 0 problems with the ALT version, but whats with the *NDS ones? They don't appear to work at all!

as I said, they dont have the loader attached (aside from the supercard one). They are meant to be used with wireless multiboot (and were requested additions, since you can use wmb to start the tool, and write SRAM without ever actually flashing an app to the GBA flashcart).
