Yer that would have to be the reason that the 0.6A2 beta menu comes with it, Maby its so if they like they could post or reply to Dr.Neo if they really wanted to.

It was meant as a preview/bonus for those that got the key early, and was the current test build that was available. I would have argued to make it publicly available but it does not work right. Personally I am proud of the testers for keeping the testing on topic and to the point ;-)

Believe me when I say you don't want to test it. It's buggy and unusable.
The good news is that the 0.6 menu is starting to come along nicely, so stay put.

thats not really fair to say.i dont know if anyone has noticed, but my postings have fallen off for a few days-im actually getting to play!!!!
0.6a2 works great for me.of course, the mk3 is essentially useless, except to get the whole thing running(cant flash roms to it-well,you can,but it runs the first rom from the neo-cart!?!?!)
Ironically, the only way to use this menu is with a flashcart(which does not come with MK32006)
the reason for my response is not to make anyone feel left out,but to state that 0.6 IS coming along, this is the first time i have felt safe about not loosing my savestates.

BTW-i tried to flash a rom to mk3 with 0.4,then use in 0.6a2,but it made me format the mk3.oh well.

0.6 is coming along nicely, I'd imagine it'll be released fairly soon

if by buggy you mean that the MK3 cannot be flashed to,then yeah.its(the mk3)useless except as a passme(?)

However, using it(0.6a2)to run directly from sd and to flash(multiple roms)to the neo-cart,i cannot get it to screw up.my son and i are using completely independent set ups,him with1g sandisk,me with 1g kingston(its in my head that using multiple sd cards may cause this to go"poof"-i use a 128mb sandisk for moonshell, but i try to just use the one sd card)and for a week now,we have had no problems.

Surely, this kind of feedback is why the menu version was included with the mk3 2006.NEO had to realize that some people would be experimenting with it.im not recommending it(as i said, you cannot flash to mk3-Bruceg said something about patching routines-latin to me)just explaining my experiences with it.with the amount of NEO-stuff ive got now,i have a lot of options to mix things around, and im just trying to optimize it all.

Its best to stick to the 0.4A menu 0.6A2 is not been worked on its too old for the testers now and most bugs have been fixed.

The testers are still working on the 0.6 menu and it should be out soon.
