strange problem

look, i just installed flashme firmwareV6 . it says you have to press a+b+x+y at startup when i do this i get a white screen (without mk3) but when i do the booting with my mk3 then game works!

You don't HAVE to press a+b+x+y, that's just if you want to boot from the GBA cartridge.

What I said still applies, if you're using the MK3 then you don't press a+b+x+y, you just leave it and let it run as normal.

If you are trying to boot the MK2/3 menu you have to have a MK2/3 inserted or it will give a white screen.

so what do i do if i don't want to use the mk3 and want to run a gst patched game?
i don't like it sticking out.i have V6 firmware installed.

flash the GST game to the GBA flash cart, you might want to use XG's software for it since it handles saves better, then do tthe software passme you described.
