Roger,

I'm sorry to hear what happened (yeah, maybe you shouldn't test the larger roms anymore).

So the SD card works fine otherwise, but it's not detected by the menu .4 anymore, right ??  You can press 'B' and then 'A' to re-detect (do that several times) to verify

Have you tried defragmenting the card, and re-formatting in windows (using both fat and fat32).  My SD card got messed up before and the menu wouldn't recognize it, but a fat reformat on my pc fixed that...

Maybe you should start again from scratch (delete everything on the sd card, reformat it, re-flash the menu onto the flashcart, etc)

Lemme know how this turns out since I haven't heard of any other problems like this caused by flashing to the cart...

yeah,i tried all that(reformatting flash cart,defrag,fat,fat32)
flashing paintball with menu 0.5 now.i would not be surprised if i put 0.4 on later and it worked fine.life kind of hands me a lot of lemons, but neo-tech works extremely well for me(as opposed to some peoples problems i have read about)
No big problems :)

Lemme know if you have any further problems with the SD card not being recognized.  Yeah, I was going to suggest trying a different menu version as well.

It's odd, though, that it's suddenly not recognized anymore by menu 0.4 (also make sure the contacts and slots are clean)

Unfortunately, I don't know when the next menu is going to be released.  Since it's been awhile now, I would guess that the coders are working on resolving some significant issues/bugs before release.

Good luck

cleaned the contacts also.
paintball loads, gets to a point where a .sav file seems to be necessary(probably could create one, maybe?)then says to restart.
yeah, this is really wierd.0.5 sux(no offense,i know they are working on it).
0.4 will not detect kingston sd anymore.really strange.

Sorry but it still don't work for me. Always the same when I try to play Resident Evil. I use menu 0.4 with SD 1GB. I don't know about the paintball game.

Resident evil doesn't work via the SD card.
In fact, Resident evil doesn't work at all, even if you have a 1Gbit flash cart apparently there are still saving issues.

The game boots, runs slowly and eventually crashes.

You might want to get the "Supercard" which, as far as I can tell, is a GBA flash cart that takes SD carts as well.

i swear,other than saving,RE seemed to run fine(good speed,no crash)but i only played it for a short time.

my issue is really wierd.i have two ds's,two 1g flashcarts.tried every possible combination of everything.the problem has to be in mk3 or kingston sd.sd card is detected in 0.5,but not 0.4.
0.4 and 0.5 still detect smaller sandisk cards.
trying RE in 0.5........
