Problem with Menu 0.6_A2 Dowgraded to Menu 0.5

Hi,

I tried Menu 0.6_A2 with my neokey and I encoutered some bugs with flashing rom in internal memory of the mk3 : First I needed to Format the internal memory of the neokey then I try to flash. During the flash, the menu ask me if I want to save NEO, If I said No it blocked but if I said Yes the saving of NEO was succesfully done but not for the rest of the flash. So I decided to downgrade the menu to 0.5 today.

Now I can not flash any rom in the mk3 with menu 0.5. Did the format of mk3's internal memory with menu 0.6_A2 which causes this bug (now I just see nothing in the directory mk3 after a succesfully flash) ? I hope I did not brick my mk3. Please let me know

I wouldn't think that your mk3 would be damaged by what you did.  You can't load any roms from the mk3 in the 0.6_A2 beta since the patching routines are broken.  Did you try re-formatting the mk3 internal memory with 0.6_A2 before downgrading to 0.5??

You can use menu 0.5, assuming you don't mind that the saving function is basically broken.  Otherwise, try menu 0.4 until the final version of menu 0.6 is released (the official .6 should hopefully resolve your problem if nothing else does).

If you are going to downgrade to a lower menu version, please remember to delete the mk2_save file from your sd card, as it's incompatible between the menu versions.

It's also possible to corrupt the contents of the SD card using the beta menus.  In that case, reformat the SD card on your pc, re-load the roms, reflash the new menu onto the neo-key, and hook everything up again.

As bruceG said, menu 0.5 is also broken so stick to 0.4 for now.

yes you should downgrade to 0.4a or 0.4 this is due to the Bugs in 0.5

the final 0.6 should not have these bugs but 0.6A2 does.
