Umm,that research thing:
Neo-Testers do not get free product. We help because we like the product.
Sorry.
Yeah,I'm having the same problem with my son.
Because of the fact that he can't play"this"game,or "that"game,he really does not play at all(and I went to the trouble of putting together two set-ups,so that he could!)-Overlooking the fact that he has over a couple of hundred that he can play just fine right now.
I'm not stating fact here, just opinion, but I think compatibility will be complete before it is abandoned.
The new MK may add features,and/or size, but I dont think it will discount the MK3's ability at all.
Sorry for my little rant-I paid a lot for my NEO-stuff also(and happy with it),and you got to me,there.
Anyway, that other stuff you are talking about(other product),most of it involves patching,or shorting out your DS,or some other things that are too bothersome for end-users(like me).I'm looking into one of them myself, for media capabilities, but in the long run,you will be surprised.
You have just bought a product that is so near really good, and gets better every three weeks or so.
Still, you are better off than you think.
