MK3 with serial advance linker help plz!!!!

Hello all I am new to all this and I have just received my mk3 and have got some problems i would like sorted out...
I have the old serial advance linker and advance turbo 64m card, I have tried numerous ways to flash the flashme v7 via help files on this site and also try and put V0.6 (currently Beta2) of the MK3 Menu onto a flashcart, and place the .nds version of the latest menu onto an SD/MMC card... and also put flashme v7 on the cart aswell... As you can see I have tried numerous ways to try and get it going...
My nds either freezes when the mk3 (with game)is in and gives me warning notice then goes white or if i use the gba cart with the loader on it, it shows the menu cut noting is in there it wont let me flash the mk3... im hoping i can use the old serial linker advance cause i cant afford to go out and get the usb version. If there is anyone out there that can help me I would appreiciate it... I know it sounds a little confusing what i have said but i hope someone gets it LOL

Can you get the menu to function at all when you flash it on your cart?? (sorry, I'm not sure by reading your post).

Do you have a ds with the newer or older firmware??  Are you trying to install flashme V.7 since you have a ds with the newer firmware?

That old serial linker may not be sufficient for what you want to do... I would wait for cory1492, the main moderator, since he is familiar with a lot of the existing carts out there (I have no idea about that particular model).

no it doesnt seem to work when i flash it even tho i use the gba version of the menu it is saying no go, but obviously i can upload to the mmc card on my computer and put it in the mk3... but obviously still wont reconise it...
Not sure on the firmware but it seems to be the earlier version.. the serial shows NTR-001 (australia) ... I'm hoping the old serial linker will work, cause that is all ive got and i cant see why it wont work. really cant afford the new one

This firmware test will help you identify if it's an older firmware (screens should NOT turn yellow or magenta)

Hopefully, it's an older firmware, so that it's directly compatible with mk1/mk2/mk3.  Otherwise, you need a passme2 to make it compatible.

If cory1492 doesn't see this post, I'll let him know to see if he has any ideas...

yes it is cory1492
but i worked it out it wasnt that hard.. i just used  little writer and used the advanced menu flash, used start ADR in byte in the rom at 0x0000000 with execute plugins and repair header and it worked a charm... BUT!!!!....
