Little poll
« on: April 25, 2005, 06:59:51 AM »
Howdy

Let's get a little thread thingy started :P

For developers:
What project(s) are you currently working on, or are thinking of undertaking? Any screenshots/a site to show off?

For simple mortals:
What kind of projects are you looking forward to, what would make your day if someone released it on the DS?

Note 1: We all know you want the damn SNES emulator. It'll come some day, when someone decides to make it. Please stop mentioning it. It hurts.

Note 2: Don't talk about the illegal uses of the neoflash cart -- this thread is strictly about homebrew stuff

Actually I work with Mollusk on the "easy to use" lib : PA_Lib, a bit like HAM, but for DS. Doc Here
I'm porting Duck Hunt, just for fun : Download

I will finish the Picross Advance I've start on GBA :Download

And, after all those small things, I will make another puzzle game (Tetris-like)

Just a stab in the dark what about a SNES EMULATOR .....

Well since that is out of the question, how about a Dreamcast VMU emulator or Pokemon Mini.

A sketchbook program would be neat for the "art" folk. Certainly alot pimper than busting out paper and pencil ;)

As for myself, I'm working on a full game called "Sparx"

http://www.iamsowonderful.com/sparx.html

I saw the video of the kirby DS game, and that really made me want to do something where you control the character with a lot of freedom, doing all kinds of stunts with the stylus... And of course I've been forever scarred by Castlevania's RPG elements in an action game, which I think is purely brilliant. Yes. There will be whips in Sparx. Or a whip...

I need someone to make graphics for me :P If you've got spare sprites, I'll gladly take them ^_^

Here is my first project: DSKonga
a clone of GC's DonkeyKonga.
http://miqfile.free.fr
In the future i would like to find a way to use microphone.
Maybe also add something in order that people can add their own sounds with DDR file support.
It's 2 big stuffs. Hope I could reach those one day with the help of the homebrew community.

simple mortal

i'm hoping to get an easy to use gamemaker, and make my own games on the pc and then play them on my DS, not those ****ty games like pac man and whatnot, but yeah the duckhunt idea was cool :D
