A great feature of this cart would be the ability to transfer games to it via the Sega CD, just like the MegaCart can...

Yes Neo2sd does work with MD MYTH 3in1.But you have to download ChillyWilly's latest menu first.

The Windows menu doesn't see an SD card through the Myth. You have to copy files over using a card reader in the PC and the PC's file manager. I suggest putting the files into directories to keep things clean. Have a directory for MD roms and another for 32X roms. If you have a LOT of roms, you may want to make subdirectories inside the main directory. The MD menu can only handle 400 files in a directory.

Some SD cards don't work. There's a list of tested cards here.

Try a number of cards, and report your success/failure.
 ::sm-09.gif::

Remember that the menu defaults to the flash browser. Press START to switch to the USB link screen, then press START again to get to the SD card browser. Pressing START one more time takes you back to the flash browser. The current card is mounted each time you enter the SD browser mode, so you can hot-swap cards by going to the flash browser, swapping the card, then going to the SD browser.

hi chilly,

i check it out. ;)
thank's for the great answer.

you are the man.

I did some more digging into the cards that don't work for me and figured out a work-around for the problem. Turns out that the non-working cards I have are trying to send the data at the same time as the command response. Since I was getting the command response, THEN getting the data, these cards would be missing the start of the sector data.

I'm not sure yet how to deal with it, but I've added a hack - if the card fails to mount, I set the "Funky Flag" and try to mount the card again. The funky flag makes the read routine skip reading the command response and go straight to reading the data. This makes the cards I had that failed work now.
 ;D

Ironically, by skipping the command response, these cards are slightly faster than the others, loading a 4MB rom a few seconds faster than the cards. Not a big difference, but certainly measurable.

I'll be posting beta 6 with these changes shortly. When I do, please retry all your SD cards to see if 1 - cards that worked before still work, and 2 - cards that didn't work before work now.
