   Sound       : 0..2.5
   Gameplay / replay value / etc : 0..5
   Motion support : 0..1.5

Note : I'll be still using my usual theme , but a bit modified this time!

Are you READY???? ....lets go!!!

Operation libra is an "escape the room" game , with some intense storyline/intro
and supports the artwork of graphic novel adventure games like Hotel Dusk for example.

Its a really great homebrew , with well executed game mechanics...

Pros & Cons
+Excellent presentation
+Very intense story/intro
+Save/load functionality
+Very stylish artwork
+Interesting plot
+Great work on puzzles
+Great work on sound effects
+Supports NEO MOTION.

4.69 / 5

Graphics
The graphics aren't perfect, they are detailed and they support an interesting theme(Hoteldusk anyone?) but they aren't for everyone i guess.

2.11 / 2.5

Sound
Great work on sound effects , but there could be a bit more.
The music from the other hand getting old after a while.

You get the gold here because of the puzzle featuring a piano!!!.

2.5 / 2.5

Gameplay/Replay value/etc
The gameplay is nearly perfect for this genre!
And especially the mini puzzles are really really great.

There are sometimes that its getting a bit old , but that's until you find
your way out of the current room.

4.17 / 5

Motion support
YES!! Supports motion
1.5 / 1.5

Original Entry
YES!!  , an original entry!
1.5 / 1.5

Bonus

Will this stay on my memory stick? : YES
What's missing to reach the top?: Nothing to recommend a.t.m.

Summary
18.11 / 20

DawnSeekers is a 3D FPS game created from scratch by only 2 people.
At the moment its just a demo with 2 large maps , but you'll be amazed by
the amount of work put on this game.

The gameplay has some issues , but really , you must check it out asap.

Pros & Cons
+EXTREMELY detail in the geometry of the levels
Looks like each level took more than a week to be completed without counting
the texture artwork.
+Many different textures
+Large worlds
+Basic A.I
+Great work on the controls
+Nice interface
+A really nice Map/Entity Editor(not avaialbe to public unfortunately)
+Many sound effects for all entity types
(Yep even proper foot steps sound effect!)
+Overall great artwork
+The background music is a bit catchy!
+Has a Goldeneye feeling for some reason.

-Slow loading times
-Some graphical glitches/flickering at some places
-The A.I. needs some more work
-I found a bug in the camera while i rotated it
accidentally upwards and then left the world turned upside down.
Tried to reload the game , but still , the camera didn't reinitialized the
default position and i had to hard-reset my NDS.
-Some lighting issues
-Some textures need a bit more work
-Enemies can pass through closed doors(after they have been opened)

4.77 / 5

Graphics
The amount of work put in the artwork is really impressive.
Some textures aren't that detailed , and there are some lighting issues
that they look a bit dark.

But if we take account the extemely large worlds and the insane detail in the geometry, hmm , really its impressive
even with the graphical glitches.

Keep working on this ..

2.34 / 2.5

Sound
Here you get the gold , there are sound effects for nearly everything!
Even you can hear your foot steps :D .

2.5 / 2.5

Gameplay/Replay value/etc
The gameplay has some issues because of the A.I.
Sometimes you'll just can't believe in your eyes by the way your getting pwned by enemies! Not only they move very fast , but they can get inside the camera and you have to do 90/180o rotations to find them while you
keep getting damage of course.

For now , a good tactic is to fire from large distance , using both the automatic weapon and the default one and always ensure that there's
no hidden enemies around the map.

4.33 / 5

Motion support
No motion support
0 / 1.5

Original Entry
YES!!  , an original entry!
1.5 / 1.5

Bonus
2 / 2

Bugs found: There are a couple of bugs with the graphics , AI , and the engine.
I'm sure the author knows about them already.

Will this stay on my memory stick? : YES
What's missing to reach the top?: Just keep working on this!

Summary
17.44 / 20

Seek And Recharge is a simple grid game , where your goal is to get
the battery and ...recharge your little robot!

It may sound simple but it isn't at all!

Pros & Cons
+EXCELLENT work on the audio part
+Nice presentation
+Simple and clean graphics
+Very challenging and addicting gameplay
+Simple menu with all the functions indexed
just like the control buttons

4.22 / 5

Graphics
The graphics are simple , clean and they support

2.21 / 2.5

Sound

games like this one.

I do , and i must say that i've spend over 40' of gameplay into this!
Its a nice little game to play before you go to bed --just to sleep,i don't have
that "dirty" mind--.

"You have to burn the rope DS" is a clone of the actual pc game.
Its fun , really sort , and incomplete :( , but don't miss the chance to try it out
the game mechanics and the animation/art are top notch.

This game needs more support asap!!.

Pros & Cons
+Nice graphics
+Smooth animation
+Smooth scrolling
+Great animated effects
+Interesting concept
+Nice work on sound effects/music and scenes
+Uses both screens
+Achievements

-The collision sometimes is a bit glitchy
-The hero is moving way too fast at the first spawn point.
-You can't die (!)
-Only 1 sort level is included

4 / 5

Graphics
The graphics are excellent , and the animation nearly perfect.
The response is also great , and all additional effects( ie  when landing from a high jump) are there.

2.5 / 2.5

Sound
Great work on sound effects , and the music!
All sound effects and music that this little demo needs are there.

2.23 / 2.5

Gameplay/Replay value/etc
Well there isn't much gameplay there , all you have to do is keep walking
for 30" , jump around 5-6 times , grab a torch , and burn ... the rope just to kill the boss!.

The boss can't kill you , so there isn't challenge at all.

The achievements add a bit , but since the game is incomplete its not that fun!.

as possible on randomly spawned platforms.

The higher your velocity is , the higher the jumps...

Pros & Cons
+Great work on particles & text effects
+Supports replays
+Online mode(!)
+A basic tutorial is included
+Great work on hiscores

There is a version that supports music playback , but other than
that there arent any sound effects.

1.33 / 2.5

Gameplay/Replay value/etc

Its a really nice and fun game , and the ability to save replays and upload
your hiscores online really add alot to the funfactor.

The author claims to be an addictive math game , but is it really the case?...

Pros & Cons
+Harassment for the win!
+Nice work on speech sound effects
+Unique concept
+It will make you laugh or smile at least

-If you answer correct an answer
you only get a green screen validating the answer.
There should be way too more after all this harassment.
3.17 / 5

Graphics
The graphics are extremely basic , but not bad.
There are a couple of "reult-type" screens that add alot.

1.12 / 2.5

Sound
Great work on sound effects...Well its normal since the whole
game is supported by them.

2.31 / 2.5

Gameplay/Replay value/etc
There isn't gameplay really , it seems to ask for the same math equations
every time but at random order.

Also if you give a correct answer the game doesn't really makes you feel
satisfied by your achievement.

I think that the coder describes this one really well :

Quote
Description:

This is my version of Lights Out. It has several variants built in. You can change variants by using the sliders to the right of the game board and you play the game by trying to turn off all of the lights.

When you click on a button it toggles between its different light settings (in the most basic mode, this is a simple on/off action, but in the more advanced variants there are multiple light states). Not only that, but the lights to either side of it as well as above and below it toggle as well.

Honestly , i can't focus on this game.
There is no response at all , and it feels like switching pages with statistics.

How was it unresponsive? That was the purpose of the die roll button animation.

Thanks ::sm-29.gif::

I wasn't really satisfied by the fact that some stuff didn't really worked as someone could be expecting. ~sm-41.gif~

For example , it would be really good if you could do some dice physics or animation combined with movement.

The gui is impressive but the gameplay feels very "static" atm.. ~sm-40.gif~
.

Good luck , and always remember : These results are not finals. Reviewers are also judged. ~sm-42.gif~

Thanks. What would be really cool is if the die were 3D, but this is my first project, so there's a lot of time for me to improve.
Thanks again!  ::sm-29.gif::

Really great reviews. I read them all, and it seems pretty fair.

Just one thing :
" but since the game is incomplete its not that fun!."
"Nothing to recommend until a full release is available"

You never played the real Flash Game, right ?
It's a parody of games being too hard.
It IS the full game... and it's exactly the opint of this game : Being easy and have only one level.
That's why i've added some challenges, as for the 27-seconds run which is pretty hard.

No i have never played the flash/pc version of this game , just thought i would write my impressions after testing your submission a couple of times.

The animation/graphics/response are really great , but the gameplay isn't really challenging.

Good luck in the comp! ~sm-42.gif~

@Conle: Sorry to intrude, but the game is exactly like that. The idea of the author was to make a revolutionary (which it was a few years back then) parody art game, which isnt supposed to be hard. The gameplay isnt supposed to be taken seriously, the instead the message was.  If you read my review, I gave great words to the author that he was able to squeeze more gameplay to it.

Well , i think the author's reply on the subject was enough to clear up some things ,
so there is no need to continue this.

But i will reply to you :
No i didn't read all your reviews yesterday because i want always to get the first impressions
with clear mind. And ...im reviewing my reviews.

I believe you do the same...

And as you can see it got pretty high score to all categories that deserved high rating...So its fair.

I understand sound seems to be important to you, but keep in mind that I am hearing impaired and sound effects are extremely difficult for me to implement.

And in response to the lack of a GUI for Lights Off!, it's because I was trying to emulate my childhood memory of my own handheld Lights Off game. It was extremely simplistic. Basically exactly what is in my game. Just a simple 'on/off' switch and some sliders.

Regarding the audio & your game "Lights off!" ,
Well this is a competition , some people have worked really hard to make their projects
nearly perfect so it wouldn't be fair if i wasn't taking account some important aspects.

I am hearing impaired and sound effects are extremely difficult for me to implement

I didn't know about this , but i will tell you something :
Even if i knew it , i wasn't going to change the rating , because im sure that you wouldn't be
happy if i was writting an excuse like "This person here is hearing-impaired hence the audio part
can't affect the final score".
I wouldn't be happy either because i respect every human beeing and im not racist , and this is a competition!
The best gets the "gold"!.

Next time i think that you should better team up with someone that can help you on the audio
part.

Good luck in the comp! ~sm-42.gif~

I wasn't begging for anything. I didn't ask for a score change. I was simply explaining why my games are the way they are. Lights Off! is the way it is because I was trying to emulate a game of my past. Audio is lacking in almost all my programs because I'm hearing impaired.

No one said that , it wouldn't make sense in the first place since reviewers are also judged. ::sm-11.gif::
