Sounds like I should check my mail box later today after the postal carrier makes his/her rounds.

I have to wait till monday to get mine...the shipping address was incorrect :(

I really hope that support for the Neo2 SD comes soon. It's the only thing that will give my Z64 true competition.  Do you have to select the card type manually for each ROM?

I can't wait to test my cart once I get it.

Mine's posted, so should be here next week :)

Took my Z64 and V64-CD of both my N64's and placed them not to far away (you never know)
If i do like it like the MD Myth, then i can place them in the box with the other copydevices i don't need anymore (but keep them for the collection)

"Expensive" is a relative term. $199 USD is not a lot compared to some N64 backup systems, and only about $50 USD more than the MD Myth. It IS a lot of money. I suggest people look at what they are getting for that money and then save up cash to get one. Do I wish this was cheaper? Yes, of course. But such items sell in low volume, so we can't expect to get "deals" on them like you would a mass-produced item.

You mean 199$.

Really , this is the cheapest and most compact and up-to-date flashcart out there.
z64/jr64 start from around 350$ , and you actually get very old & unsupported hardware.

Hi, sorry to be a bit dumb, I just want to make sure:

1. Can I Upload, but also Download the save file between PC and the original game?

Example: I connect original Pokemon Stadium (flash save), can I move the save from the game to the PC, and from the PC to the game? or is it upload-only?

2. Does the save manager (upload/download save) work for 100% games?

3. If so, the one I should buy at ic2005 is NEO N64 Myth flash cart + 512M and will not need extra work right? if it needs extra work could you point me to a tutorial or something?

I am interested on this particularly because of the example I gave. And then I could use it for other games if it works on all of them.

Back in the starting days "V64 CD 256" i payed around $550 (with shipping)
For my "V64Jr 512" i payed around $390 (and the called it low cost compared to the V64 CD unit)

Now $199 that's very low cost compared to the V64 units (can't remmeber what i payed for the Z64, but it was a bit less then $390 :)) and try to find one of those V64CD/V64Jr or Z64 units today, a good working unit will sell for around $200 and more, and the hardware is very fragile, Z64 units can go broke during transport, 1 little voltage peak can fry your V64/Z64 board.

Anyway i think most ppl who find it expensive still will not get the point, but a few will do :)

1.Yes , the functions are there

2.Yes

3.No, just install the latest software found on the main page.

The hardware is 100% complete if that's what you're asking, just needs some support from the software.

thank you, I asked because neo's english is not perfect :P There was the chance the "download" and "overwriting" was only between the PC and the flash cart/sd card and not the pc and the original game.

The boot menu is what sets the save ram type, size, and bank - usually based on info recorded in the menu entries by the Windows app. Until a boot menu is made for the N64, saving probably won't work right.

Without the boot menu to set the save ram settings, your game runs in whatever the cart defaults to when powered on... probably pass-thru to the attached cart would be my guess.
