Save Types
« on: January 16, 2010, 10:41:54 AM »
Hey guys,

I found this list online of USA ROM save types and boot CIC type:

http://n64.icequake.net/mirror/www.elitendo.com/n64/usa_boot_save_list.html

I don't know if there is a tool that does this automatically, but this helped me adjust Bomberman 64's save type to the proper value (EEPROM 4K) so it can save properly.

Very useful for now!, although the plugin will detect all boot cic types using constant crc calculated on the fly.
So yeah , soon you won't have to worry about CIC/Save types ::sm-24.gif::

The 64DD.net games list (http://64dd.net/modules/games/index.php?system=n64&type=released) also has options to show games by CIC type or save option. Maybe this is of use for someone.

Wow, nice site. Very pretty.

I was looking through the games for the different save types... lol Tigger's Honey Hunt used FlashRAM for saving... and now I must play it, after reading the review for it at the website.

Your website is amazing! >:D
Regarding CIC , the detection will use a combination of CIC HASH + constant results so no need to make specific game configuration.

Regarding Save types , i have made a mupen64plus -> SuperN64 plugin optimized database exporter , and all that info will be accessed very fast.
