WinterMute making linux driver?
« on: April 28, 2005, 07:19:32 AM »
So is wintermute coding a linux driver for this? That'll be pretty sweet, as I do all my dev work on linux, and currently would have to use a nearby windows computer for flashing, which is annoying.

I agree. A Linux-compatible devkit would be extremely useful for us Linux users. I have an EZ-Flash II PS cart, and it really irks me that I have to boot up a Windows PC just to flash it. If Linux drivers hit for this, the development community would be all over it.

yes, I sure am.

Currently I'm working on a linux driver for the xgflash usb linker. Hopefully when I get my Neoflash kit it should be easy to port. It should also be fairly simple to port to OSX so all the major platforms will be covered :)

There's already an OSX flash tool available for FA Xtreme USB (supports most Visoly carts out there). Just check www.deadcoderssociety.org and under GBA stuff.
