Latest N64 Myth Software
« on: August 01, 2010, 06:50:23 PM »
You need at least two things to use the N64 Myth to the fullest: the Neo2 Pro Manager, and the Neo N64 Myth Menu. Here are links to the current versions of each. When you go to get the Neo2 Pro Manager, check the rest of the thread for updates. DLLs are often updated and posted in the thread without also updating the opening post.

Neo2 Pro Manager v1.30
Neo N64 Myth Menu v2.6b1

He just said he didn't want to as he'd have to burn several roms over again. It's a bug in the Neo2 Pro Manager that doesn't handle the menu entries properly - sometimes thinking it needs to remake the menu list when it really doesn't. Make a report to Siven.

hi, ChillyWilly, Conle:
Using old card in  Neo2 Pro Manager will  "old version or invalid neo2 menu type! please take a format!",  that's because we had changed the fat address from Mbit(5) to Mbit(15) , and leave almost a whole 0~15Mbit space  for N64 myth menu. so the Neo2 Pro Manager will show the message when it verify fat in these old card.
but very sorry for this problem,  :'(only one method to resolve: format again! and burn again! ~sm-70.gif~.gif

we promises this changed will never be reversed again, so ronaldo_76, please take a format!  Once you done these, you do not need to burn game again when new menu comes out.  You just need to browse the new menu file in "BIOS Path A-1" or "BIOS Path A-2" in the right panel,  then click "burn" button, the Neo2 Pro Manager will compare the menu and burn if any different. Generally if there are no significant change in menu format, you do not burn the game rom again.

Not working for me.
I completely formated the cart with Neo2 Pro Manager 1.03 and reburned the menu v1.8 to U2 and the games to flash but the next time I plug the Neo N64 Myth into my pc again I still get the "Old ... please take a format" message
I also ticked the rom fat checkbox when formating.

Yes.

If you check the link, you'll see there's regular, pal, and the SMS emulator needed to run SMS games... although someone reported the emulator runs as NTSC only. I still need to look into that.

Haven't you ever heard the saying? Software is NEVER finished, only abandoned. The menu will continue to be updated until I get it's replacement going. NeoShell will eventually replace the menu with more functions and a better interface.
