MK5 Loader or SMS?
« on: November 11, 2010, 10:57:10 PM »
I've been looking for a simple way to move save files to and from my current DS cartridges and my PC. I found this:
http://www.ic2005.com/shop/product.php?productid=100&cat=5&page=2
It looks like its what I want. Seems to be plug and play with backup/restore capability, and you simply put your cart into a USB adapter. But I also found this:
http://www.ic2005.com/shop/product.php?productid=66&cat=5&page=1
I'm a little confused. Is this just for homebrew games or does it read Nintendo DS carts, too? It'd be nice to save $10, but I don't want to get it and find out that it doesn't work with DS games.
Primarily, I want to use some emulation tools on my legit carts, and I need a way to transfer the save back and forth.

Thanks. Glad I didn't buy the cheaper one without checking.
