Save Problems (again)
« on: July 25, 2011, 03:25:04 AM »
First of all, I had no idea where to post this, so if its wrong, just move it. (:
So, its been a while since I dont play my GBA and now I want to play it again. BUT, i'm having save problem issues.
After a while, I lose the game save. I think this is a commom problem, but couldn't find the real solution to it.

This is what I use:

XG2 Turbo 2005 (256M)
Slim Loader III

Whats the best software to burn the roms?
Is there a way to fix this problem? Thanks!

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that particular cart, but you should probably try the latest Neo Pro Manager client (1.10 if I remember correctly). That writes GBA games just fine on the Slim Loader IV + NeoFlash cart.

CW,Unfortunately it won't work with SL4-powered programmers..

I have that cart , and from what i remember only with Neo Power Kit i could get it to work .
So,try to find the latest version of NPK and see if it helps. (If i remember correctly , the latest version was released around x/x/2007.Early versions(<=1.0 -x/x/2005)  don't support all XG models so don't even bother).

Edit:Also try to replace the battery with a new one..
