i install manager pro v1.32 and open it message is "unknow card"
i test it. Kuniokun SP Ranto Kyosokyoku 3ds game.
i use backup master 1.30. work backup save. dump rom don't work.
it show like this.

plug in usb , open backup master 1.30 , usb load , push  overwrite to nds card , save lost.

plug in usb , open backup master 1.30 , usb load , backup to pc , overwrite to nds card. save perfect.

memory.sav file is initialize and data be lost.
you can try backup to different file.

scanmanga, it's original sms4.
when you insert the 3ds cart, you will see it can't detect the cart title, but can detect the save chip type. so it's nothing wrong.  when you insert the ds cart, you will see the game cart title.

Are the following 3DS/NDS Carts in the database. For the NDS I can not get the software to recognize the titles, but it does recognize the save chips. For the 3DS it does not recognize the save. I have tried cleaning the fingers but still no success. The cart plays without issue.

NDS:
1) Prince of Persia The Fallen King NTR-CP5E-USA sav chip shows EEPROM: M95040 (-W -R )
2) Dragon Quest V NTR-YV5E-USA sav chip shows EEPROM: M95512 (-W -R )
3) Super Mario DS NTR-ASME-USA sav chip shows EEPROM: M95640 (-W -R -S)

3DS:
1) Pokemon X LNA-CTR-EKJE-USA
2) Pokemon Y LNA-CTR-EK2E-USA
3) Pokemon Omega Ruby LNA-CTR-ECRE-USA

1. don't use USB extension cable.
2. plug the SMS to the usb port on the mother board directly.
3. try on other PC.

I have not use a cable it is plugged directly into the mother board USB port.

Why do I only have issues with these 8 carts and not the other 42 carts that I backup at the same time with the same computer, same SMS4 and USB same port? I even clean the fingers with alcohol, but no change.

I am still waiting for the Slim Loader III (USB\VID_FFAB&PID_CD03) to work as well where you gave the same advice and it has been tried on 4 different computer with two different clean installs of winXP x86.

I am able to backup the 3 NDS carts with Rudolph's app but still can not with this app. What is the issue with this app and these three carts?
It still show unknown title but list the memory chip.
If I use the NEO 2 app the driver consistently times out on these 3 carts, but not on the other 42 carts that I have.
