UNC Basketball’s lone recruit in the 2020 class is transferring high schools for his senior year beginning this Fall
The 2020 recruiting cycle should start to heat up again soon as the AAU circuit wraps up and players get ready for their senior year of high school beginning this Fall. With the month of August approaching Stilman White Jersey, many recruits are set to not only trim their lists but also start scheduling visits to schools on those lists.

For North Carolina’s lone commit in the 2020 class, five star center Day’Ron Sharpe, he announced an important move regarding his high school career and his senior season for 2020 21.

On Monday, Sharpe revealed that he will transfer high schools for his final year moving on from South Central High School in North Carolina and transferring to Montverde Academy in Florida. Sharpe made the announcement via his Instagram page
The 6 foot 10, 246 pound Sharpe helped lead South Central to a 30 1 record in his junior year as they won the 4A state title.

Sharpe averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds as a junior, becoming one of the top players in the state of North Carolina. But now he will move out of the state and play his final year in the state of Florida.
The center has jumped from four star status when he first committed to UNC back in June of 2018 to now a five star recruit   and the No. 22 overall player in the 2020 class per 247 Sports.

Roy Williams and his staff are off to a great start in this 2020 recruiting cycle by landing Sharpe and are now looking to add to their class, especially on the wing.
